Our background

Poggiolini was initially set up as a small artisan shop rooted in a passion for Italian cuisine and a desire to ensure that top quality fresh pasta would appear on the dining tables of Arezzo people.

It all started in Arezzo in 1972. Inspired by the fast disappearing local culinary traditions, our small artisan shop dedicated itself to ensuring that top quality fresh pasta would appear on the dining tables of those living in Arezzo.

The flavours and goodness of our products allowed us to grow quickly over the years and we integrated our vast experience with the use of avant-garde technologies to improve and maintain the high quality and genuineness of our pasta.

Over the years, our business has mainly been family-run and the freshness of the products has remained unaltered. Our pasta making company produces a range of products: from traditional filled pasta such as tortellini with meat fillings or ravioli with ricotta cheese and spinach fillings, classic pasta and lasagne and tagliatelle as well as countless tempting fillings such as chestnut, citron, orange, nettles, mushrooms and truffles. The vast choice we offer means that we can please even the most discerning palates whilst, at the same time, ensure that you will be tempted by new flavours and tastes.

For many years now, all the Poggiolini products have been certified by the European Community under the EC marking (i-9-2543-L), and in April 2006 we obtained a new and prestigious certification - ISO 9001:2000 which also attested to the top quality and production level we have achieved.
